When you provide your information to us via our website, by email or over the phone we only ask you to supply information that we need in order to provide the service you have requested.

To enable us to provide insurance quotes, insurance policies, and/or deal with any claims or complaints, we need to collect and process personal data about you.

Similarly, if you wish to engage in an Introducer-Resource Partner agreement, we need to collect and process personal data about you.

We do not store card details.

We may also collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our webmasters. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns which allows us to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.


How the information collected is used

Personal information provided to Westminster Insurance by you will be used to:

Who we share your information with

Personal information provided to Westminster Insurance Ltd by you will be shared with certain third parties who are essential to the provision of the service/product being provided and/or to perform activities on our behalf. This includes the insurance underwriters, claims agents and service providers. By supplying this information, you are consenting to Westminster Insurance Ltd sharing it with essential third parties.

We may need to share your data with sub-contractors who may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Much of our processing will be under the basis of “contract”.

Put simply, we need and use your personal information to provide you with the service or information you’ve requested.


However, where we are communicating with you regarding products and services you may be interested in receiving from us in the future our basis for processing is ‘consent’ which you have given freely. This consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Information – your right to access, rectify, block and remove
